Gavin Garton
Gavin has been a qualified podiatrist since 1992 after completing his Bachelor of Science degree at Curtin University. He spent the first five years of his career working in Tasmania in both public and private practice. He is experienced in all aspects of Podiatry and has a particular interest in Sports Podiatry after working closely with Australian Rules football and touch rugby clubs over the years.
The sole provider for Podiatry services at Hopman Cup XIX in 2007, he continues to outperform in the pursuit of excellence for the elite athlete and occasional athlete alike. He also provided services to and played league football for the Devonport Football Club in the Tasmanian statewide TFL during the mid 1990's.
Gavin founded Kingsway Podiatry after returning from Tasmania in 1997, following knee surgery, which ended his football career. He recently relocated the practice, returning to its original location at the Madeley Medical Centre.
Gavin is happily married with one son and enjoys spending time with his family, travel, AFL football, running, fishing, diving and motorcycling in his spare time.
